Roof Layout Requirements
- ⚡Space Needed: ~100 sq. ft. of clean shadow-free terrace area is required for every 1 kW capacity.
- ⚡Direction: South-facing orientation is ideal to capture maximum sunlight throughout the year.
- ⚡Structure Type: Standard flat concrete roofs use anchor fast-pinned galvanized structures. High-raised custom frames are optional if you wish to use the terrace underneath.

For individual homes, systems usually range between 1 kW and 10 kW. For most independent houses, a 3 kW system represents the ideal balance of investment, maximum PM Surya Ghar subsidy, and bill offset capability.
